6 students held over rape.

Kwara State Police Command has arrested three students of the state College of Health Technology, Offa, for allegedly raping a female student.
The suspects and three others who are currently at large were accused of gang-raping the female student until she lost consciousness.
The victim, according to the police, was drugged and raped “mercilessly until she became unconscious” on February 15.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabo, who briefed newsmen on the incident, said the female student is receiving treatment at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
The commissioner assured that the remaining three suspects who are at large would be captured and brought to justice alongside their arrested colleagues. The case, he added, would be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
He said items recovered at the scene of the crime include three used condoms, a pair of female underwear, lady’s shoes and phone.
The commissioner further stated that two suspected cultists were arrested during a clash between rival cults groups.
The police boss also said the command recovered a Toyota Camry car with registration number; LND 857 AR, snatched from Ibadan by an armed robbery gang.
