‘Fake’ Pastor Chris Okotie Demands N100,000 From Facebook Friends

A fraudulent ‘pastor’ parading himself as Household of God’s Rev. Chris Okotie is soliciting for donations “to save the life of a baby born with a tumour on her face and head.” But Rev. Okotie has disowned the Facebook account (Chris Okotie) through which the scammer deceives the general public.Interestingly, the fake Rev. Okotie’s Facebook account has over 500 followers and friends, who don’t even know it is not real.
The social media has since been invaded by scammers who defraud unsuspecting people of their hard earned money and sometimes possessions. Apart from hacking through a victim’s account, the smart guys deploy several tricks to make money from their victims.
Rev. Chris Okotie, who is also a presidential aspirant on the platform of Fresh Democratic Party, is not the only minister of the gospel whose identity has been compromised to scam folks.

Redeemed’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishops David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church (Winners), Sam Amaga and host of other prominent pastors have also fallen victims of internet fraudsters.
At the time of filing this report, the fake Okotie’s Facebook account has not been removed by the former wonder boy of pop and founder of Household of God’s Church.
