Toddler Causes Commotion At White House

.A toddler caused commotion on Thursday, August 7, at the White House when he squeezed through the fence surrounding the White House in Washington.

This resulted in a temporary lock down of the residence of United States President Barack Obama.


According to CNN report, President Barack Obama was about to address the nation on Iraq, but just before the briefing was expected to start, a toddler managed to escape from his parents and squeezed himself between the bars of the White House fence, causing the meeting to be delayed.

The president, the press corps and the nation had to wait but it didn’t take long for the matter to be resolved.

Edwin Donovan, spokesman for the United States Secret Service said: "We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him, but in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on way with parents.
