.The flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party at the just-concluded Osun state gubernatorial elections, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has told newsmen that he is still seeking information from relevant authorities before making any comments on the election.
The former senator, who was beaten hands down by the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress with about 101,937 votes, revealed to newsmen that he is still consulting relevant stakeholders as a committed party man.
Vanguard reports that the PDP flagbearer spoke on phone through his spokesman, Mr Diran Odeyemi, refusing to comment on the outcome of the elections not until after his consultations.
Diran said: “Omisore is not a tin god. He is a committed party man and 24 hours is too short to engage in widespread consultation.
“Consultation is on with our men on the field, meetings are already on and as soon as all these are concluded, we would issue a formal statement on the development.’’
